Rafael Vazquez is from West Phoenix and graduated from Stanford University in 2012. Since graduating, he has taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Geometry and is currently in his fourth year of teaching at RE Simpson School in the Alhambra Elementary School District. He recently graduated from ASU with a MEd in Educational Leadership from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.
Anna Lisa Caraveo-Flores is from Los Angeles and graduated from UC Irvine in 2007. After graduating, she taught bilingual elementary in Texas and has worked as an instructional coach with Teach For America for four years in the Rio Grande Valley and Phoenix. She recently graduated from ASU with a MA in Social and Cultural Pedagogy from the School of Social Transformation.
Tameka Spence is from Phoenix, AZ. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2011. In 2014, she graduated with her MA from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has a background in sociology and education research. She previously worked as a research assistant for the Center for Understanding Race and Education at Teachers College. Most recently, she worked as a research analyst assistant for the Institute for the Science of Teaching and Learning at Arizona State University.
